Globe$ project

A financial software development company XRT France and Belgium needed to outsource some of its software development projects to lower the development and support costs and at the same time speed up the evolution of its product. Its Globe$ product required several new modules to become more competitive in the U.S. market. Strong emphasis on product quality and deadline adherence was made.

The team of 14 people (10 developers and 4 QA), working in close cooperation with France (specifications management) and Belgium (project management), developed the new modules for Globe$:

• Cash Position Worksheet (for U.S. market);
• US-specific account balances;
• Enhanced security package (entity-relates security, strong passwords, payment security);
• Enhanced graphic for reports;
• Risk management module (allows to compare scenarios of market changes Forex, interest rates)

Infopulse obtained very positive feedback from the customer's management, resulting from high quality, increased speed, and reduction of project management costs. Our team took part in 2 releases of the software and is developing new release.

Year of 2002 results: sales of Globe$ went up by 44%, Globe$ share in the customers yearly turnover went up by 5%, expansion of sales in the US market.

Other activities

Besides those listed above, Infopulse Ukraine has implemented numerous projects ordered by a variety of companies, institutions and private persons. Among those were:

• Customer Care Service Frontend for Ukrainian Mobile Communications (UMC) cellular provider

• AMU system support and extending for Advanced Digital Information Corp, USA-Germany
• Various integration programs for UkrTelecom, Ukraine
• Creation of intranet structure and domain structure for The Constitutional Court of Ukraine; installation and implementation of the network security services, corporate information exchange services; installation of Oracle database server.
• Infopulse Ukraine has a good record of projects in SAP R/3 domain. One of them has been performed for the leading Ukrainian mobile operator (interface development and integration of third-party applications with SAP R/3) and others - for European customers, mainly in France.
